I do remember them wanting to dog hunt some on takeoff. It was noticeable.
Beautiful job Nut.
Now get those fans together.

Where any mods done to keep the wings from flexing or are they pretty strong stock?

i tossed the stock "wood" spars....and used 2 carbon spars, tied to the spars in the wings, the wings by them selves are strong enough, it was the connection in the center that flexed, so i ran the two cf spars out to the gear mount area, they are about 1/8" thick, and about 1/2" tall spars. pretty strong, and i didnt see any flexing, even on high speed passes

thanks dennis!

more progress, got all the retracts mounted, and main gear doors setup and working properly. did some more body work, also cut out my new fan mounts, putting those in tomorrow. i also assembeled the model outside, and man, it still shocks me to see how huge it is lol. its just freakin crazy. i cant believe 2 90mm fans flew that thing haha. should really fly with some good authority now! im hoping it goes about 140-150mph. at that speed it will look very realistic. i also got both fans setup and running smooth with spinners, and ran them both on my CC ice 120, i checked the data log, and the kv of both motors is extremely close, so thats good. im getting 116-118A on 12s 8000, charged but cold packs. 0 timing. just under 5kw per fan, and about 32,500-33,000 rpm per fan. with warm packs and tail pipes i plan on the amps beeing about 125-127A and about 5500+ watts. should be atleast 30 lbs of installed thrust. sa weeeet! should be ready to fly in a few weeks!

HI CN, fingers crossed for the rebuild T38. But dont you think you are again to close with a CC120 @116A!?
Or will you use the 160A ESC?!

Looking forward,
