got it all sanded last night, and put on the flat white primer. its in pretty good shape, only need to re touch up a small amount of areas. so once i tocuch them up with putty, i need to wet sand, and its ready for paint on monday afternoon.

as far as i know, its a "24" hr cure, but should be touchable in less than 12. 24 is the full cure.

ps.....its lookin awesome in white! and my wing fits like a freakin glove. almost cant tell its removable

yeah, i just want it done at this point. i want to see it all pretty and white and, getting back to a normal sleep schedule, and beeing able to do more relaxing things after work wouldnt hurt too much either. im missing all the good flying weather right now lol.

next big project is to finish my jhh A-4 that has been stagnant for a couple years. its a 100% scale A-4 that was never released from JHH. i got the last remaining fuse. (aka...LUCKY!)

Yeah you worked hard on this 38. The canopy plug took a bunch of time too. There is light at the end of tunnel though and she will be all done a geourgous real soon. Then it will be time to have fun flying it and all the hard work will pay off.

That A-4 you have is sweeet. That will be an awesome bird once done also. When I saw it hanging in your garage that one day that's were I learned how to do the offset hinging when I saw the rudder on it. I employed that on the T-38's control surfaces. Learn somthin' every day.

Here is a pic one year in Vegas Brent doing 160mph passes in an F-86, Jeff on the left and Hillbilly on the right Beanie out of frame to the left with a camera that sounds like a machine gun when he pulls the trigger and me crouched with the radar gun

so i got the 8000mah packs from andy. i just weighed them, and they are only going to add 1.5 lbs to the total weight. bad news is, i miss guess the weight of my old packs, so now i have to add another pound to my estimate weight lol.

i also got a 2500mah life pack for the rx.i ordered another in case i need to pair them up to make a 5000mah flight pack. the huge stab servos say if you use one, you need atleast a 1500mah pack. i figure thats for 1 lol. what size pack are you using wingman? also, any way you can post a close up pic of your main gear door arm that attaches to the leg? i got some ball cup ends, i just want to get a idea of the geometry involved.
