got it all sanded last night, and put on the flat white primer. its in pretty good shape, only need to re touch up a small amount of areas. so once i tocuch them up with putty, i need to wet sand, and its ready for paint on monday afternoon.
as far as i know, its a "24" hr cure, but should be touchable in less than 12. 24 is the full cure. ps.....its lookin awesome in white! and my wing fits like a freakin glove. almost cant tell its removable

Yeah you worked hard on this 38. The canopy plug took a bunch of time too. There is light at the end of tunnel though and she will be all done a geourgous real soon. Then it will be time to have fun flying it and all the hard work will pay off.
That A-4 you have is sweeet. That will be an awesome bird once done also. When I saw it hanging in your garage that one day that's were I learned how to do the offset hinging when I saw the rudder on it. I employed that on the T-38's control surfaces. Learn somthin' every day. |

so i got the 8000mah packs from andy. i just weighed them, and they are only going to add 1.5 lbs to the total weight. bad news is, i miss guess the weight of my old packs, so now i have to add another pound to my estimate weight lol.
i also got a 2500mah life pack for the rx.i ordered another in case i need to pair them up to make a 5000mah flight pack. the huge stab servos say if you use one, you need atleast a 1500mah pack. i figure thats for 1 lol. what size pack are you using wingman? also, any way you can post a close up pic of your main gear door arm that attaches to the leg? i got some ball cup ends, i just want to get a idea of the geometry involved. |
