Micro Spider HEX
$24.99
The Micro Spider HEX is laser cut from hand selected 1/8th plywood -- strong and light.

General Information
The Micro Spider HEX is a precision designed frame and laser cut from hand selected 1/8th plywood. Designed for 5 inch props. Strong and light.

The Mini Spider HEX is an original design by BlueSkyRC.com and is inspired by Terry Balling's Micro Quad. The frame is designed for up to 5 inch propellers, 6 - 10 amp speed controllers, and 10 - 15 gram 2000kv motors (or around that).

Standard motor mount holes are pre-drilled as are holes for mounting screws. The flight deck is pre drilled for the standard KK, MultiWii, and CopterControl flight control boards. Can easily mount any board. The frame comes with an optional halo plate that can be mounted over the flight control board.

* Kit includes plywood parts shown and the nylon bolt package containing 16 bolts, 16 nuts, and 4 riser mounts. Visit the Micro Spider HEX build thread on RCGroups.com for more building details and interact with other Micro Spider HEX flyers.

Micro Spider HEX PDF Manual.

Are you going to do FPV with it?

Same I'm super excited, and the A1510 motors are vibration machines. Out of 12 motors I have 4 that are bad!

I am for sure.

Anything smaller just lacks the lifting power or is too squirelly for FPV at this size. A Hex should resolve those issues especially with the park250s and 3s batteries. I have 850mah through 2350mah to play with. Will see what this little spider can lift!

1.2ghz 300mw, either 690tvl or 500tvl cmos depending on weight.
Inverted Vee Antenna
Eagletree OSD
Spektrum AR6115e w/ satellite
Spektrum TM1100 Fly By Telemetry
Dual Patch Antennas, Diversity, FPV-Japan DVR, Headplay Goggles

Super excited about it! I love my Blue Sky micro quad!

I'm hoping too.

I see in another thread that the hole spacing on the Park 250 is shown to be 22mm, that sucks. Even the 18mm of the A1510 mounting adapter was too big for the frame. Maybe I'm missing something ...

If I can get the exact spacing, I can update the files for the next batch. However, I know that others have been mounting the Park 250 motors without any problems.

In pictures in the Micro Quad thread, the Park 250 motors are mounted using the diagonal holes.

Then again those are e-flite park 250's not turnigy.....

You can use the original screws if you trim in to the wood just a hair so they recess into the bottom of the arm. The Micro Spider HEX also has A1510 direct mounting holes as well and can be seen in the photo. Don't stress if you don't have the pattern directly for your motor as the wood is easy to drill and mount on.

and the A1510 holes are not for the 18mm pattern of mounting adapter but for the 9mm holes where the adapter mounts to the motor
