Good to here it James!

Right now I'm flying an aileron version. I have a flap version on my build table.. Seems stuck there though.. So little time anymore.

On the plus side, we will be offering a fully built Genesis. Receiver ready!! First one should be available early next week. White/Blue color standard wing. The plane I was flying this weekend was the prototype. Planes are built by seaspb (Sam). See pictures above.

Do you have an estimated price yet for a Rx-ready Genesis?

I have 1 flapped plane left in stock. It will be a while before we have any more available with flaps.

If you would like to order a receiver ready plane, please contact me and I'll put together an order for you.

I actually took the White/Red unit to assemble Wayne. The one I posted pics of is White/Crimson.

FYI, get you orders in for the RX ready units. After April 15th I will be flying almost daily in preparation for the f3f team selects at the beginning of May.

Hey Wayne;

remaidened the Genisis (Nose broken off with fully ballasted and 46 mph winds!)
She flies still great. white nose and checkered tail a bit easier to see, but with sun in eyes... still a siloete mostly!
This plane now flies a little heavier, but smoother too. Wind at lilley's today may have hit 20 at times. Flew great and very pleased witht the final here.
Now we have to get your's done and over there.
I want to see and maybe try your non-flapped one. should be interesting.
Could you make it lower both ailerons a bit on landing to slow her down with built in down elevator and still keep control of it?

In theory, lowering flaperons can cause a tip stall vs spoilerons. I used spoilerons on my destiny, bird, and miniblade, all of which have no flaps and was able to land good, it just took a little more of a "landing strip" .

However, use what works for you, there are many ways to skin a cat.

I agree with John, I'm a fan of spoileron and that is what I have programmed in. Worked ok in an emergency landing last weekend. I should have some video of it. (Left my camera at a friends place though...)

Cats, I don't mind skinning... Re-Skinning planes is what I prefer to avoid!
If spoilerons work like one of my larger flying planes... I have that down nicely, but seems to speed the thing up, so end up diving her in then pull up to flair it out and slows nicely. I don't think I have any elevator compensation on this either.
