Well my take is to have crow on the Avalanche with Gyro's on the flap's for elevator comp ,

I will be experimenting with the gyro's to see what effects there will be& how to set them up , I might even mod my Epp Drongo with 2 more servos & use it as a test bed for some flights

Yes Josh, you have to be initiated!

Then.... you have to destroy a couple of planks before becoming a complete convert. Bonus point for doing so on the maiden. (honourable mention).

Great looking mould simon! I see you have made it to suit a bladder, will you shape the bladder to fit the tail or put a spar in there? I have been trying to make up my mind with that for my own fuse.
Cheers mate

Hey guys one idea about the fin ... my tails with blue foam cores are stiff and strong, even with a very light layup. Why don't you hand shape a core that fits neatly into the fin (keep sanding it till you can just close the mold on it). When it's all laid up, sit the core in there and splooge the edges (Ampreg is ideal if you have it). Then you can use the bladder without it pushing up into the cavity as it will be blocked off by the foam. I guess one problem would be that if there's a small gap between the foam and skin the bladder might push into there and pop .. so it would need to be a snug fit. Just a thought.

Yes, I think it's good. It would deserve some carefull fitting of the forward part(s) of it to avoid that possible pinching off of the bladder between foam and skin. But could be done!

edit: I continued the bladder into the fin on my last ones. It worked, but there is always the doubt about how far back to take it. Too far and it interfers with the join of the two skins. Too far forward and it will pop.
