Songbird done... I'm not much for scale detail, but it looks good to me.
The Dragon is kicking my butt, it's so darned fragile. Should be done soon though.

It's not really finished and only has tenths of seconds of flight time, so I can just hope it's ok that I'm posting this.
Here is the build thread for my Vought V-173 "flying flapjack" http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1567361
And as attachment you can find a pic from first taxi and flight tests.

Here's my (nearly) finished Beech D-18. Didn't quite get it completely painted. It did take off under it's own power and flew (briefly). Gravity, graciously handled the landing for me.
It has since been repaired and is ready to fly again.
Special thanks to John and everyone else who participated. It's been great watching so many interesting projects come together.

No luck on the maiden, but when the opportunity arises, we'll be ready.
Ok...why settle for one Trimotor when you can have two? The twin was built by me about 25 years ago, using the same method. It has LED nav, landing and cabin lights. Hand wound outboard D. Reese kit motors and a .020 Astroflight on the center. Flew on a tether
The model has been at a Ford museum that eventually became the 'California Auto Museum' for the last 23 years and is now going to another museum that is aircraft related called the 'Aerospace Museum of Calif.'
Though the ratio of F/DNF is high, what's been submitted is so cool and I'm glad to be in company. The rest I'll be watching and cheering from the sidelines...

Congratulations to our winners !!!
First and foremost I would like to thank all of you for participating ( and watching ) this years Funbuild . The mulit-engine subject this year was not an easy task , and would like to congratulate all that finished ( and those that are still wating to fly their models or complete them )
With that , I'd like to announce the winners :
Plan built winner : Grumman Goose by : Warhead_71
Kit built winner : DC6N by: payne9999
Most honorable mention goes to redlite for his outstanding build of a Sterling Tri-Motor and is waiting for a suitable time to maiden .
Great job guys !!!

Congrats to the winners!
Redlite's Tri-motor is awesome!
But if we are going to do honorable mentions, I'd like to give a shout out to jsfrench's excellent Burnelli CBY-3. A beautiful model of an unusual airplane that, like mine, crashed on the maiden. (His CBY-3 flew a lot longer on it's maiden than my Beech did!)

Thanks John! It is an honor being mentioned and I'm very surprised!
Congrats to the winners and thanks for playing to all other fellow contestants and spectators alike!

Thanks for hosting the fun builds, Its a great incentive to start a new model.
Thanks for the plug, and I am glad you got your beautiful Beech to fly.
When I get back from the road, I'll give mine another try.
I have received plenty of suggestions for improving flight.
We stopped at Maloof Memorial Airpark in Albuquerque and I gave my trusty Eflight T-34 a few laps. This is an outstanding facility and the people were most friendly.
