Testing a newly received motor, I have used five propellers found in my drawers.
These measures are given as is, results may vary according to configuration.

Battery Orion 3S 4000 mAh 30-60C fully charged before each test
ESC Hobbywing Pentium 30A - Motor Turnigy Park 480 850KV max 250W
Turnigy Servo Tester - Junsi PowerLog 6S Wattmeter - LogView software

Since it looks like you are testing the new motor out you may want to give a APC 10x3.8 prop a try. For me it has beaten the efficiency of the 10x4.7 by a bit in some setups reaching 10g/w. Nicely done by the way

thanx bruv had a thought on the dt700's aswell.......

i suspect they run rather poorly if you dont oil the bearings when you get them but have no data, could you please test them dry as they come from HK then oil them with whatever you like and see if anything shows up perfomance wise? cheers

Nice test. The results are fairly obvious. You can pretty much look and feel the prop and know the answer. Those black props are simply not up to task. They are cheap and good for crashing.

However I am running the exact same motor with 11" X 4.7" prop. It will be very interesting to test the 11" X 4.7" apc slow flyer, 12" X 3.8" slow flyer and some equivalent apc thin electric props. Maybe even some Graupner props.

Yes. But this value is only valid with the motor I used.

11" X 4.7" apc slow flyer and 12" X 3.8" slow flyer are coming.
