Hi Don, I got the markings from Callie graphics.

http://www.callie-graphics.com/pictures.php

It's the first time I use them and they do very good work. They have those Me-163 decals "on file" and for $18 or so including shipping you get them in a couple of days. Well worth the money. The paint is Tamiya acrylic from the spray cans.

At the end I gave it a coat of johnson's Future acrylic floor finish.

For the panel lines I just used a black Sharpie fine point from Target ... I also have a flexible ruler from Michael's that helps get the lines straight. Be careful as the Future will dissolve the Sharpie lines, so you have to do that last.

I have used Callie for many years. She does great work, is fast and is very inexpensive.

Glad it worked out ...

Here's a close up picture of my small wheels, they have a tough metal hub. I also added Dubro wingskids, just in case.

Haven't done anything to the plane bottom, to keep it light. Maybe I will paint the servos same color as the wing bottom ...

Added a simple (removable) antenna mast, and gave the Me-163 a clearcoat of acryl matt.

I am still astonished at how well this thing flies . It's quite popular at the field, I guess it is the rather unusual design & shape.

The most common question: "Where's the rocket?"

I told you they are nice

I flew mine twice on 9S today (instead of the old and boring 8S)

More flights yesterday ... the video is a collage of two flights, the first one on 8S and the second one on 9S.

You can see the flybys getting a bit faster after the first two ...

Dead stick landing of another (large 3d) plane made me veer into the dirt on the right to avoid him on landing ...
