MCPX V2 How do you fly upside down?
I have just brought a blade mcpx v2 (v2 being the tails clip on and off compared to the old style), i need to know how to fly upside down. Obviously i can fly the mcpx as normal. When i tried setting my dx6i up to the requirements in the manual, the helicopters blade pitch was set so it would only fly upside down which was just crazy. I went on you tube and found the factory settings and now it is flying as it should or there abouts. Ive never flown a 3d heli though and im wondering how do you actualy make it fly upside down. what lever or switch makes this happen. What is the process of action to complete this action. If anyone could help i would be very grateful, thankyou.

Really? Switch? Scary I realize we were all newbs once... Have you thought about giving one of the flight simulators a try? You know, BEFORE you demolish your heli. Inverted (big word, I know, means upside down) flight is flown into and NOT a function of a switch. >>>---> Inverted flight is achieved either through half a loop OR half a roll. You really need to get a MUCH better grip on the basics before going inverted. |

Yes the f.mode switch is the key. Im getting there slowly, just a bit confused when upside down and keep going the opposite directions. my brain cant cope at the moment but still going well. On my second canopy and second tail as the plastic boom broke right at the main frame tail holder, split at the end so i couldnt attatch it back in. Oh well, live and learn. Simulators, pfff. i like the real world, the wright brothers never had simulators...LOL

It must be nice to live in a world where even noobs know and use 100% correct jargon/terminology related to aircraft... No wonder so many people are scared to jump into the RC Hobby.
Hamilton, I would still suggest a Sim though. It's helped me out tons other than I don't use the same switches in sim as in real life (a bit frustrating, but the downside of a non-usb connection direct to high end TXs) Good luck
