Is someone using Kingston 16GB class 6 in 16# camera? It is not in list of problematic cards, but I am not sure if it is safe to buy it.

Maybe somebody pressed the REPORT button and the moderator just acted.

Also we can press the REPORT button if we think some post is breaking the rules. So find the post and press the button. It is so easy and much simple than complain.

I say lets all stop drawing straws. This crap can go on until the site gets closed down again. I understand MANY people want this to be an 808#16 "Aerial Photography" thread and if we get off topic "sometimes" a lot of fuss is caused. Lets just let whoever vent and IGNORE there venting insted of fueling the fire. We all know what happened last time. Some people like the guy above has a valid concern and we should not shun him just because he is "OFF TOPIC"

So Lets "ALL" act like Adults. Ignore the posts that you feel are mumbo-jumbo etc. If a post is confusing to the Braineacts then just simplify it for us dumb guys and us dummer guys will obviously follow the simplest solution. So know one will have to worry about "misleading" info............PLEASE EVERYONE>>>MOVE ON>>>>>>>

This quoted post above was post #10 when I started to delete some messages as a test. It was post #6 when I posted this reply. I'm now testing the effect of deleted message on this post reference number when I delete some messages that preceded this one.

<EDIT> Well the post I quoted above was post #10 in this thread when I started to test the effect of deleting a post, and it ended up as post #4 after all the deletions were done, but the quoted text has not changed, so it looks like deleted posts should not affect quoted post text. But if a link to a specific post were included in the text of another post here, and a post were deleted prior to the linked one (changing it's post number), the link will possibly point to the wrong place! I will test this later.

I sincerely hope I never have to delete a rogue post in this thread, but will not hesitate to do so should past problems arise again. Enough said, I think. <EDIT>

The original poster can reference this same question in the FAQs link in post #1 here. It's normal for this little camera to feel "hot" because of it's small size with limited volume or other cooling to help dissipate heat. The case becomes the heat sink, and not a very efficient one because it's made of rubber. But I've not heard of any sudden or catastrophic failure from this.

The higher heat MAY lead to a shorter life span of the lipo battery as some have commented in the past, but there's been no definitive testing to confirm to what extent, if any. There's been quite a bit of long duration testing done (e.g. 10 hours to fill a 32GB memory card) with the camera sitting exposed to ambient air temperatures with no
problems reported that I've seen.

If any one who has done this has other info, this is a good time to post it.

Why don't you asked the forum administrators to make that thread "privately moderated by Tom Frank"?
This is not a good solution to read here and search or go in another place.
