So the effectiveness of the motion detection can be better gaged, can you recall what your motion time out setting was in this clip? Just trying to determine if the motion was keeping the video going in all cases, or whether the time out (with no motion) was set higher, like 15s or higher?

I hope you had the camera secured to something heavy. I was waiting for a crow to swoop down and take off with the camera for some interesting aerial video!

I bought one #16 808 camera to me. Do I need to update firmware or If I just put to record I´ll have a video like yours?

Video images look sharper when they're seen as videos. Any individual frame may look unfocused at a distance, but the persistence of vision when viewing as a video sharpens things up.
These imagers are limited as to what any one pixel can show. At 10 feet, you can have 1inch per pixel.. at 20 feet any pixel can only show what is in a 2 inch box. Got out to 1000 feet or so, and sharpness just can't happen.
One image from my GoPro yesterday... the full image is nicely sharp when viewed at the usual distance, but zooming in at the center and at the upper right shows pixels all over...
It takes mega pixels, LOTS of mega pixels to get decent images in perspective views.

How many pixels per inch depends also on the angle of view. I prefer my Bloggie with fairly narrow AOV and set at 1080p for search and rescue of downed planes. The best GoPro setting is also 1080p, or continuous stills which are 5mp, or more for recent models.

The #16 is a 1mp camera, so we can't expect too much.

OK Tom-Frank I really liked the history of the" Corbeau" to the settings the detection time is 30 s sensitivity is high I had a lot of other files with its settings but at the start it takes more 40secondes so that detection is active with the 0.49 detection was enabled immediately thanks again to you Tom Frank and Isoprop for your work

I dunno if you got the point of question. I was mainly wondering if a still shot from the camera in in time lapse mode would give a better looking/focused that a frame grab from a video. Erm, like with a plane moving a speed, which image would have less motion blur? - leaving aside that the #16 take shots at different resolutions depending if it's in photo mode or Video mode.

Off topic I know, but I thought was quite funny too. I was kinda hoping the gull was going fly up and land on that flag pole looking thing with the camera.
Also would have been extra cool if cam was plucked/'stolen' off a plane in flight!

I blew the dust off my Great Planes Electrifly Extra 330 SC, installed two #16s with the Dlenses, and went flying. A good time was had by all. If only the hat-cam hadn't stopped right before takeoff...again!

It was a frame grab from a video. I was using a sailplane going quite slow, so no distortion due to speed.
