No. I was really answering the question about lightening the case - IMO clear tape is the answer as it's lighter than heatshrink and you don't have to cut holes for the buttons.

This works for me but it is easy to change settings to experiment.

Regards, Gerd

PS: If I select NTSC output at the keycam the vertical bars left and right will become more wide. So I guess the video timing for PAL is still not optimal.

I have taken a screenshot with my Hama Video Editor framegrabber to show you how it looks like, Keycam set to PAL mode and 16:9.
Same here,
PAL and 4:3 Output gives ma a small Frame arround the Picture.
That happens on Attitude Googles and Monitor. It happens with or without wirless Transmission.

I use the same settings as above for bright sun, blue sky. Works fine. However not so good for heavy overcast. For that, auto is possibly better.

You don't need to read all the posts, just start with post #1 like the thread title says. The access the User Instruction manual linked in post #3 for more details on how to use your camera. And there is a GUI that will run on a MAC now, so download that as well to make setting the configuration easy. You probably need to download more recent firmware as well.
Thanks Tom

Yes, that works as well... a lot cheaper, too.

Cant find the info on setting up #16 for FPV video out

Hi Tom
Can you point me to the info on hooking up the the cam for FPV video out, haven't been able to find it in all the pages, manual talks about every thing else, not sure whether I should be running a separate battery supply, would appreciate your help,
thought I may have found something on YouTube but no luck Regards Goofa

The manual has not been fully updated yet, but first, do you have the #16 V2 camera that has the video out capability? It would have come with special mini-USB cables that are for video out. Then it's just a matter of making sure you have the most recent firmware installed and the GUI program for toggling it on in the configuration settings (see post #4). Then it's a simple matter of plugging the cable into the camera mini-USB plug and the cable marked "Video" into your display device or FPV transmitter. There is also a +5v IN plug in the event you want to power the camera with an external USB (+5v) power source. You don't need that, but the internal battery will only power the camera for about 30 min. with both video out and recording turned on.

Hi.

I've been using my camera for a year or so. I've only used it eventually in short sessions. Now, I cannot record more than 2 minutes or 3 minutes. I've tried changing the memory card, but the problem persist. The camera shuts down, even when I have been charging the battery with the usb cable for one hour. I think it's definitelly a problem with the battery. I've decided to purchase 3 or 4 batteries, since it's clear their life is very short.

Is this a good seller with original batteries:

I bought my camera from eletoponline, but I cannot find batteries in his store.

Thanx.
