Jason, thanks for starting the thread. It only took you a couple hours from getting the model in your hands to posting pics
![]() I suppose I should have started a new thread myself, and I may do it later when the "proper" models arrive. This first batch was made in prototype MDF molds as a proof of concept. Aluminum molds are being made right now for full production. The model was well received by the few test pilots in Russia. I test flew it one day before the Archdale contest and liked it enough to use in the contest. Unfortunately, damaged it too soon and finished the contest with another model. This is my own design. Airfoils are a refinement of the Taboo GT foils. The tail areas are very generous, especially the vertical tail, to aid in launch performance and handling. The name is from a popular/classic medication used in Russia. Here is more data for you to make fun of while you are waiting for the next batch of Validols ![]() Quote:

And this is my medicine for the next season's treatment.
Kevlar wing -138,2g Fuselage - 48,4g Vertical tail -7,0g Stab - 7,0g It seems there is no chance for DS285 to take place inside the fuse. Maybe DS188. But optimized for D47 or 5035. As for a wing, it is thick enough for even 11mm servo. |

I will do a build-log. Although most of the building part should be much like an Akcent2 but with different POD configuration. Oleg, do you have suggestions for starting CG location? Also, can you confirm the location of the wire routing channels in the wing: 45mm from leading edge, extending slightly forward out to 65mm from center? Thanks! Jason |
