Quad Build/Plan, Will it work? Goodluckbuy,HobbyKing,Ebay

Hello there guys, I got some question about this plan i have on my mind, I am planning on building this by my self with physical help of a professional, i live on a small town of dysart in queensland australia, with no one who flies rc except me. So this is going to be my first quad build and first ever fly with a multirotor.

Now this is going to be my setup. i gathered all the cheapest parts i could get and i want you guys to see if its a good idea or recommend a better one

FC:http://www.goodluckbuy.com/kkmultico...adcopter-.html

Frame:http://www.goodluckbuy.com/kk-mk-x52...dform-kit.html (already bought, waiting to arrive)

Motors:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/outrunner...item4ab15ae17b 4x

ESC:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mystery-R...item27b3223dbe 4x

ACCESORIES
EXTENSION WIRE:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...mtr_BLACK.html
PROPS:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...2pc_pack_.html , http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...7-6645EE95C0AB

I wanna know if you guys think it will work. as i dont wanna be disappointed at the first time . i spent alot of time researching for this parts, i wanted to spend as less as i can because i dont have that much budget. but if you guys think it wont fly, i want you guys to give me a recommendation of a different cheap part.

those ESC's may not work... it says "Throttle range self-adjusting" ... i think you need programmable ESC's for multicopters...

Can I suggest a better flight controller?

The KK Boards are amazing and cheap but don't have accelerometers to auto level (Great when starting out) or other features (gps eventually), I started with one but wish I had gone straight to MultiWii.

This MultiWii board should give a much more stable flight, doesn't cost much more and you can upgrade the sensors with breakout boards later, there are several threads on them in this forum

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1551599

http://www.goodluckbuy.com/mwc-multi...breakout-.html

A Power Distribution board makes thing SO MUCH easier
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/multicopt...ion-board.html

The LCD Means you can change settings at the field easily but isn't strictly necessary
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/mwc-multi...er-module.html

And If you wanted to push the boat out a little you can upgrade to the SE With Magnetometer (For absolute heading hold) and Barometer (For Altitude Hold)
http://www.goodluckbuy.com/mwc-multi...breakout-.html

As far as Esc & Motor choice are concerned there are better ones for not too much more, everything on a Quad mounts up fast as you have to buy 4 of everything!

The Mystery ESc's are Probably fine But I would choose these
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...rammable_.html

And the Motor KV seems a bit high, you will be better off with the Keda 20-22L, they generally have the best rep for budget motors and work well with the 10 x 4.5 SF props

Yes, i would consider this MultiWii FC, i was looking at it but i just think that kk is easier to flash, and ive never flashed anything before except my samsung cellphone xD, but yes sure i find it much more interesting i will probably just go with this MW fc.

and yes about the motor. i just decided to use 30a setup because it seems unique in some way i dont know why it just came into my mind, but yeah ill consider getting a 20a first then probably upgrade.

but what do you think about this motor?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/outrunner...item1c21ba5983
using a it with TGY Plush 30a?

390w sounds pre awesome. i also am putting fpv equipment, so i might use 2 2200mah batteries parallel and be the power source for both fpv and the escs. and yes that Power distrubutor thing also, i was gonna buy it but i just didnt put it on the list xD

Edit: I will try my best to get the MW fc with acc baro and magno, i just need to get some more juice from me parents xD

That's an expensive KK board, the HK version is a lot cheaper.

I would go for a stronger frame, something like in the original post. Being that your new to quads and RC, your going to crash it on the first day, guaranteed, and that frame there will break being thats its CNC arms. Meaning you will be waiting two weeks for another or parts.
I suggest going for a X525 frame, something strong, or even better, a DJ frame.

As suggested earlier, there are Multiwii boards which are more stable then the cheaper KK boards. Also suggested was you can add extra sensors for things like altitude hold to them.
Even better, and cheap is the Crius SE MultiWii board which is a multiwii board with all the sensors already on the board. Cost under $80US posted from Goodluckbuy. Just search it out. Bit of mucking around to get them tuned up, but worth it. I am still in the process of tuning mine at the moment. I have it stable in ACCRO mode. Soon as I get the sensors correct it will be even better. These boards have three added sensors, Accelerometers, Baraometric Altitude hold and magometer heading hold sensors. Great buy for under 80 bucks if you ask me.

Thats just a basic Multiwii board. No accelerometers for auto level and no other sensors. May as well get a KK board, as it does the same.
If you want the extra sensors for better and more level flight and altitude hold, then you pay a bit more for boards with these extra features. Most with these extra features cost well over $100US, usually a lot more. This one -http://www.goodluckbuy.com/mwc-multi...ard-quadx.html is pretty darn cheap for what you get.
