RC Goat,

can you fly around and give us an average of your flight times with atmost 10oz of dead weight using 5500mah Lipo.

thanks much. Is 25min reasonable?

Sorry do not have that any 3 cell lipos larger than 3200. Also not really interested in duration flying 6 op 8 Minuets at a time are all I need. Do not use my quad for FPV or long range flying.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25K
I like the Sony DSC-TX7 better because it outputs in .mp4 instead of .mov so I don't have to go through file conversion and lose details. Also it has better auto exposure in vidoe than the Panasonic Lumix and the GoPro 2. GoPro 2 however has wider view which is important in aerial video. There will be a WiFi module available in 2 weeks that plugs in the back of the GoPro which will be great for remote control and viewing from an I-pad, soon to be tested on the X830-S. I don't expect much range from Wifi but it will be great even at 30 to 50 feet which allows me to see what I am filming from my phone. I almost bought the LCD module which would have been a bummer because I would have to remove it when I put on the Wifi since there is only one expansion port. I do belief RC Goat is correct on the GoPro stability since it is designed for extreme sports.
Guys, one customer showed a new way to mount the GoPro on the X4 camera mount by utilizing its image inversion function and mount the camera upside down. I will soon post a picture.

Yes, 25 minutes and I did this 2 times and each time return with about 15%-20% left in the tank.

X830 struts

Recent photos show a strut from the motor mount to the landing leg. My 830-S did not come with these supports. Is this something I need to add?

The struts are for large DSLR camera like the Canon T3i. They are not necessary for smaller cameras. We will also be showing an alternative way to mount the GoPro on the Turbo Ace X4 camera mount. The flexible design of the X830-S landing skids allows you to mount most cameras easily on the X830-S. Just replace the stock legs with longer carbon rods to extend the skid if you have taller or bigger camera. If you buy a quad that has nice looking fancy legs then likely it will not be extendable and you are stucked.

That is a long long video to make. If you do the math using a 2200mAh battery, it won't be necessary.

The purple cross looks like the Mercalli plugin cross and you have a dust spec on the sensor that moves around which indicates you have used stabilization software, probably mercalli.

I work at a hobbystore part time fixing heli's mostly, and a customer brought in 1 of these 830s quads he bought from wowhobbies. He does not have the 4gb flash drive with config software, and manual. Can you please post where I can download this info to get his quad flying.

I like the cam vibration attenuation rubber. Looks like a decent quad, but its a paperweight until I can find the manual.
