Permanent Magnet Brushed Motor Air Gap ?

I have 4 kind of rotors. 12V and 24 V max 250 W Brushed DC Motors.

1- 42 mm diameter lamination
2- 55 mm diameter lamination
3- 65 mm diameter lamination
4- 81 mm diameter lamination

how many centimeter must be air gap between magnets and rotor lamination ?

Anyone inform me about this subject?

The smaller the gap, the lower Kv and the higher eddy current losses.
Gap is usually anything between 0,2 and 0,5mm

but i thought that smaller air gap is more useful.... Am i wrong?
0,2 mm - 0,5 mm is total airgap between rotor and magnets? Or just one side?
I mean in radius 0,2 mm or in diameter 0,2 mm?

The trick is to find the correct trade-off for your application, that's what engineering is about.
Always measured on one side, distance between statorpole and magnetpole.
