Multiplex Easy Star Built on time!
Hi Guys,
Me - worlds slowest builder, but i did actually manage to assemble the easystar in the suggested time of 2 hours. Had promised a newbie in our club that i'd take something out for him to have a play with tomorrow, and didn't start it until 9pm tonight. No decals, but it is flyable. Shame it's pitch black outside now! All very straightforward, no problems encountered during build at all, Highly recommended - well, as long as it flies ok! speed |

Flies Very well!
Slight pitch down with full throttle, but i was using 9xhe1100's. Nice and stable, responsive without being twitchy. Even in the slightly blustery conditions we had early evening. Newbie bloke had a go and managed ok. Touch and go's easy enough on the grass strip too! speed |

Short update - flew easystar tonight in flat calm conditions.
Absolutely rock solid. Really easy to fly, very stable. Landings are a doddle. Anybody should be able to land this given enough area, it's easy. Lose some height circling, set it up pointing at runway, put transmitter on floor and it'll do it itself!!  Looking forward to flying this on a hot day as it's glide ratio is very good. I managed a 16 minute flight out the front of my house tonight using 9 he1100's, and the pack wasn't even flat. just be aware of the pitch down when launching with a high power setting. Go get one. speedy |

i thought you'd pick up on this before long being a foam e freak yerself. Bought it for training folk with, but turns out to be a good leccy glider too! |
