Here you are ... I did connect on A0

You can also so my GPS directly connected to the serial interface

For activate this led I did use:

#define MY_LED_SWITCH PORTC ^= 1<<0
#define MY_LED_ON PORTC &= ~(1<<0)
#define MY_LED_OFF PORTC |= 1<<0

void initMyLed()
{
pinMode(A0,OUTPUT); // TILT_PITCH - WING left
}

4 leds per motor

What do you want to do ?

Map the motor power into led around the quad for visibility ?

Have an additional LED for some signalling ?

As you can see ... my quad has also visibility led ... in two colors ... for orientation and eventually night flight ... plus ... 1 LED (actually 2 in series for power reason) for give me 1 additional signal ...

MultiWii Board has only 1 led for signalling .. that means: ON = armed, OFF = not armed .. quite a little for my taste

EDIT: Prop and motor is looking good for a "standard" 500mm quad ... I guess you plan to use a 2200mAh 3S Lipo ... or something similar

Not 4 per motor but 1 per motor, I want to make this for night flight and I don;t know where/how to connect leds.

My Frame is 680mm , 170W Motor, Battery is 2,2A 3S Lipo like you said, and propellers is 10x4.7 I want to buy more but on hobby king its in backorder so I'm searching for alternatives for goog propellers

If you want just night flight ... just connect the 12v led directly to the battery ... that's it ... nothing to do with the board.

About propeller also these one are good for a quad :

I'm using the 8x4 on my 550mm quad ... but also 9x5 should be fine ... since they are 3 blade propeller, they should be consider like a 10x4 or 11x5 equivalent with 2 blades ...

3 blades are more cool then 2 ... 4 will be even better for me

I did not read it any where, neither I did search or study it ... but .. my "stomach feeling" ... is telling me that more propeller should make a hovering quad more efficient ...

Anyhow ... on my quad the 8x4 do work very fine ... also using 3S Lipo ... but I use a cheap little donkey 1500kv motor : http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ess_Motor.html

my frame ... with 8x4 prop ... is the cheap : http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Frame_V1.html (in the past was the cheapest one ... anyhow I like wood frames ... in case of crash the wood brake and no other side effect ... and just few drop of CA ... and is back fixed in no time)

If I would have to order again ... I will take this kit: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=19596 ... very cheap .. and looking good

If you are not much into acrobatic fly ..

Something is looking wrong

To me ... is looking like you used the same type of propeller on all the motors ... you need 2 CW and 2CCW propeller

I don't think it is needed ...

But ... you want to calibrate them (to have all with same level) ... simonk ESC FW, learn min and max signal once you power them up with full throttle signal

I think you can use them as it is ... with default configuration ... so nothing to be done
