PID setting on crius Multiwii SE X500 quadcopter

Hi all just wanna share my PID setting on X500

Multiwii 2.0
-Lowpass freq 42hz
-defined trust acc
-in flights calibration
Board Crius Multiwii SE from GLB
motor : 1000KV
ESC : Hobbywing 20A
Prop : 3blade 9x4.5
lipo : 2200mAh 45C flight time on stable mode about 10-12 minute with FPV gear about 7-8 minute

Roll/Pitch PID= P:3,5 I: 0,025 D:35,
Yaw: P: 7 I: 0,045 D: 0,
Level : P:7,0 0, I: 010 D:100.
Now i did the PID Tuning for the
ALT/Baro (default PID: 1,6 0,015 7) and ended up with P=0,3 I=0,001 D=1

My quad never so stable like this before

The 1000kv ones on 4s lipo with 8x4.5 props have a thrust off 900grams, they are really nice motors, I use them

Thanks deno6031. I plan to buy them and replace the ultra-weak dt700s bought from HK.

Thanks, mine was one step higher. Don't see much vibrations, but it's worth trying to lower the low pass setting.

I made one garbage-quad recently and it vibrates like a car-engine. I set the low-pass filter setting to the last-but-one setting!

it seems that you have a stable hover but it is too early to say it is perfect, you have to fly forth and back and see its reactions, that is more important

headfree is the carefree mode on the mikrocopter systems, try searching on youtube for 'multiwii carefree' you will be amazed passthru function is for the inflight accelerometer calibration(you have to enable it in the config)

Vineet
Too early to tell, mine hovers at 50%, but have not enough stability to feel the motor power. The motors were super smooth when I was calibrating the ESCs. It seems that the prop adapters introduced some vibration.

Thanks. Tried these, my quad didn't liked them much.

I am starting to thing there is something else wrong. I replaced the Crius with a KK board I have laying around. Couldn't make it to fly smooth, although I followed the procedures. With both boards, the quad behaves like it's feeling ground effect even when flying 2 meters from the ground.
Could this be power related and how can I check if the motors have enough power. They seem to run smooth when I am holding the quad and give full throttle, but sometimes twitch when I am holding the quad and don't touch the sticks.
