I got some turnigy 3s 2200 40cs and some GensAce 3s 2200 25cs at the same time. I flew them back to back and the turnigys are pitiful, especially considering they claim 40c discharge. there was major voltage sag, and I barely got six minutes before they ran out of juice. the gensace will give 6 minutes with a barely detectable drop in power. much nicer imo.

Great info! I picked up a couple of the 55c GenAces at the WRAM show, but I haven't soldered on the connectors yet (not to mention the extra is down for some repairs right now as well). Really looking forward to giving them a try.

Did you use Welders for everything else or CA?

Thanks Stoned doggie. I have purchased spare 3DHS parts from them in the past for my 71 AJ Slick, but discovered, as you did, that they don't list any spares for the 48" EPP Extra.

Got some hanger rash on one of my SFGs and decided to give it a try without them. Can't say I notice a huge difference... the thing is still great in KE, and still doesn't seem to like pop-tops.

I've been flying mine on some 1550mah packs I had laying around. It hovers sooo much easier with the lighter packs, and I still get 5 minutes. This thing is too much fun!

Interesting, I've been using 2200, I'll have to try my 1550, where did you place the 1550 in the tray

Great photo by the way
