Good work. The quad looks stable at higher altitude. Flying low to the ground always causing prop wash which makes the quad drift around. What camera are you using for FPV and recording video?

So I can assume that you are just recording video and flying it line of sight (looking at it). If so, that's not FPV. That's just recording your flight. FPV is where you are flying/controlling it by viewing what the camera views live.

Hello
I do not know if I understand you correctly? I try to explain.
I use 2 Cam (1 to drive FPV) (2 WING2 for registration FPV)

Ok, that makes sense. Yes, you are truly flying FPV then.

I just flashed my Free Flight FC with the Base Flight firmware but have a few questions / issues.

First, does anybody have a diagram on how the ESC's are connected and in which order, along with the receiver connections?

Second, I can arm the FC by pushing the throttle stick to the right, but I can't disarm when pushing to left.

Third, how do I make changes to the multiwii code that's on the FF board? I don't want the motors to spin upon arming it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

set the travel on the rudder to 125 in both directions using the travel adjustment within the tx .that should allow you to arm/disarm

for motor stop you need to go into arduino sketch ,load up the sketch ,then define motor stop .

this video should help you

MultiWii Arduino Sketch mod and Upload (2 min 22 sec)

i had to learn this myself and once you figure it out its easy .i can make changes in seconds ,takes longer to upload the changes then it does to make them .be sure to save your sketch once done compiling it .
what version software are you using?

I'm using my gear switch instead of just the sticks because of this.

Try using putty or Hercules to connect to the board directly and change the settings that way or use the interface provided by nicodh http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1667516

One of the confusing parts is, where is the baseflight "sketch" for me to modify and then upload to the FreeFlight board?

Also, in the Arduino IDE app, which board do I pick before I hit upload to update the sketch on the board?

You don't need to alter sketches with baseflight32, settings are changed through CLI. Read the manual in the link thwaitm provided..

Might be worthwhile reading up here and here.

Last question, why do all of the manuals for these boards say it can't be used on DJI frames?
