yups.. it took some time, but the rabbit GPS works like a charm.
mine had some issues in the beginning.. it was always 180 degrees of. so it would always go away from you instead of home. and position hold was more suitable to scan a 1/2 mile radius, it drifted a lot!
but that's all fixed now.
it works great. (if you do all the correct calibrations)
it also has the same 3D mode as the ff now.

but a rabbit with all the bells and whistles doesn't set you back $200 though.
just $140

but i still love my FF big time to!

I just built and flew a new quad. I had v1.24 flashed and it flew fine with the X500 PID from this non-slider PID setter:


I decided to try 1.32. As far as I can tell the throttle response is the same - at least - very similar. What I do notice is that the controls for roll and pitch seem to be a little more gentle around the middle. I think for anyone interested in using their FF as a photo platform might find 1.32 better than the 1.24.

Requires further testing but no downside to flashing to 1.32 as far as I can see and possibly an upside.

I installed the new firmware and havent really noticed any difference, flies well, but 3D mode doesnt seem different than non-3D.

fellow fliers i need your help

i was in acro mode today the first time .i was able to do sideways flips but the quad would not flip over forward or backwards at all .

ideas ?

the is the x400 with ff board version 1.31 ,standard pid settings .
