Steve,
Can you please help me mate. I am coming back to these bikes after running a static rider 12 years or so ago. I am rebuilding that, but have recently bought a new HOR and want to run a brushless setup. I have been reading your posts on this amongst others and am getting confused. You have advised some BM's to use a cheap Hobbywing brushless set up and I have seen these on ebay & other places, but you also seem to use or advise using Castle Creations stuff, which seems to be more expensive but I assume better quality. Am I right in saying that all motors need to be 1/18 scale? and am I also right in assuming that, at least for a newbie like me, it is best to buy a motor/esc combo package from the same manufacturer?? Any advice appreciated and sorry if it means repeating stuff you may have previously posted on this subject. Love your bikes by the way - do you use an airbrush setup for painting or hobby aerosols and brush on?? |
