Instead of removing material to clear the swash-plate push rods.. Could you heat the canopy in that location and push out a blister for clearance?
Maybe. You need quite a bit of room though. May be beyond the limits of the plastic. Here's a pic at full throw.

OK guess my XP8103 wont bind

So Im reading the FlySky TH9X , CopterX CX-CT9A and Turnigy 9X are the only transmitters which will bind with the V911.

Do any of these transmitters bind with a micro receiver for later heli's? You know.. Versatility?

And which ones the best? Can I use V-tail mixing to mix for example, forward into left tail rotor?

Thanks

It just slides out. After you have it all together, slide it back in and it'll lock the v911 boom in place inside the fuselage.

MY V911 broke the main shaft in forward flight last night. Spectacular tumbling crash I wish I had on video. Correction I sure the main shaft broke sometime in a crash but only separated in flight. Retiring the black 911 and ordered a new yellow BNF one this morning. Now I’m wondering about the battery. Not sure what one will come with it but if I needed will be able to change out the skids and use my old batteries? It would be nice to be able to convert to the same batteries as the Nano.

Yellow BNF only come in old plug model right ? I'm waiting for mine as well.

BTW is it ok to put a drop of ca / super glue on the metal part of flybar / balance bar ?
My flybar keeps loosing its metal part during a hard crash.

So long as doing so doesn't throw off the balance. Others have used tape, etc.

Remove the board and pull off the retaining tab, should be able to pull motor straight up.

Eventually got time to tinker today, so decided I'd try and get my yellow bird flying again (the one with the broken canopy rod).

I had previously noticed that the canopy was quite tight to the servo rods so instead of just repairing the side which was broken, I decided to cut off the other side too and extend it by a couple of mm to give me more clearance.

What I did was bore a 0.8mm hole through the mainframe and bore about 6-7mm down the length of the rods to give them plenty of hold. Straighten a standard paper clip, cut it to size, shove it through the mainframe, fit the ends and Bob’s your uncle. Flies as good as ever, if not better

It’s no doubt been mentioned before, but I only realised today that the canopy holders on the white and yellow clones are about 4mm longer than on the original V911s. If you look closely at the pics below – for anybody who hasn’t got both types – you can see that the mounts for the servo arms are set further out on the pcb resulting in the linkage arms on the yellow being much more “splayed”, whereas on the blue/white they are almost vertical. No idea if that was deliberate on the part of the clone manufacturer or if it just happened that way. Can any of you physicists out there tell us what kind of effect that would have on the flight characteristics? As usual, just curious for curiosity’s sake

Cheers
Tigg
