The tail blade is def ok. All wires to the PCB are all ok.
The swash pin is not bent or rubbing as I have just checked. The flybar seems ok and straight as normal.

I have a prob with mine - I used to hover perfect after a lot of fidding with all my trims on 0.

After a couple of minor crashes the heli has a slight vibration and stutter in the tail.
I have replaced the blades but its bobbing up and down and in hover swirls around and up and down.

Any ideas
Can you make a video of these symptoms? Hard to visualize from your description.

Check if the swash plates are separating. But yes, if you could provide a video like StoneCutter suggested, that would be best.

Wanted to post a video to show how bad the quality of my new 808 camera is, but when I tried to upload I got the following ...

"SUNP0001.avi:You can't upload videos in this forum area. Please upload your video files into the Video Gallery forums."

Anybody know why, and what I have to do to post a vid?

Cheers

Just got my keychain camera from BG so thought I'd give it a try. Just charged it up, put in a 8gb micro sdhc card, clipped it onto a cap and fired away.

Video quality looks worse than some others I've seen shot on the same camera. Have I just been unlucky or is there something I can change to improve it… unfortunately the instructions aren’t very helpful, For the price you don't expect HD, but I thought it would be better than this…

Just for the record, the vid was shot in the evening with the blinds closed and internal lights on. Maybe it's only any good for daylight shooting?...

crap quality 808 camera (1 min 6 sec)

... and can anybody tell me how to set the time and date? The translation from the original Chinese in the instructions helps me NOT ONE IOTA!!

I think I have the same 808 as you (#6) and the same "amazing" quality.
Here you can find more infos about your camera (and how to set the date): http://www.chucklohr.com/808/C6/index.html

Check for a missing flybar weight.

Testing my new 808 #16. Still haven't quite figured out how to get the camera tilt on my hat correct, but still testing.

I find flying through the tree branches helps practice depth perception.

So I just got one of these in the mail that I ordered for my sisters step son for Christmas.. This thing is WAAAAAAAAY too much for him to handle. He does ok with the little coax helis but this thing is quite a beast on the stock tx. Is there any way shape or form to tone it down a bit short of giving him my 9x? I may have to break down and buy him an msr and make this one my new toy lol. I was really hoping this thing would handle more like the 9958.

Some guys are converting the stock TX to exponential curve response by soldering resistors on to the PCB. Expo'ing the yaw control is very helpfull and some guys have also Expo'ed the pitch and roll. I did the yaw only with 2.2K ohm resistors and am happy with the outcome.
