If you land on a non accessable roof try holding power to get it to bounce around until it takes flight. I've seen videos of people doing this after crashing and it works.

I run it off the Corter battery and that it seems that the camera shuts down when the battery gets slightly depleted, thus videos are short (1-2 minutes).

Has anyone found a good combination?

BTW: The Bravo SX seems to be able to lift about double the weight of the standard V911 motor.
That was my experience too.

I did this a while back, with the #11, stock motor.

808 #11 key cam recording on-board v911 (0 min 11 sec)

808 #11 key cam on-board v911 take 2 (1 min 30 sec)

Does anyone use the free android app "RC-Heli-Pitch"? How do you use it to measure the pitch angle of a micro-micro like the v911 by using the mobile phone cam? A screenshot doing the measurement would help.
Thanks,

Try lubricating, but with caution - too much is too much.

For some, this procedure has virtually doubled flight time.
My v911 is only 2 weeks old, should I still do this? And I'm going to use Rem oil with Teflon.

The 150mAH are the only way to fly. Punch and longer flight time.

Not sure what you mean by type-O.
You should get better than 3-5 even with the 120mAH.

Thx for the information bud.

By by type-O i mean miss print. What i was getting to there was if you look at the link i posted go down to the description of what the package includes it states that it comes with two "180Mah" battery's but i believe that is a miss print because i do not think that mine came with 180Mah battery's. im sure they ment 120Mah battery's as i have not seen any 180Mah's on the market.

I remember we had this 'spring' discussion in the 'under $22' thread. Apparently the spring is for 'frog jump' stunts.

Got my new plug version last week. 5 new batteries are on the way, but unfortunately they are also only 120mAh. Can't wait til they bring out the 150s as it'll be interesting to see what they do for the performance. I suppose in the meantime 7 x 120mAh will give me enough flying time . Even with the 120s it has much better FF than my old version heli with the 150s in it

wl toys triple decker 'Cortutle' :-)

I needed fresh ideas for the BG video contest, so expanded on old concept. As expected, hovers nicely, but flies like crap.

WL Toys v911 v929 v939 triple decker (4 min 2 sec)

Yup. I had originally ordered 5x old plug batteries not realising that my new heli had the new plug. Couldn't find the new ones in a 5-pack, so had to ask Cinbe where to find them. If you want I can send you the link later, but the server seems to be down at the moment.
