I found the same thing on the U.S. Ebay. Looks like they mean an upgrade to the V911 by buying this. Seems to be a clone of the Helios, but they cloned the TX as well.

Funny how the picture on the box, the black/orange canopy still says "Corter."

What's funnier is that's not even the correct box for the product.

In addition I just noticed at the bottom of the page the color is yellow so what's this red one, has to be a clone, still a nice looking bird though.

On the box, it says that it's a patented product and that any counterfeits will be investigated. LOL

The logo on the box appears to say wtotoys.

I have a Turnigy 9X, but have modified it with FrSky DHT module, will this bind with a V911? or will it only bind with the original Turnigy TX module?

can't find if this one has already been asked, but is the helios 100 paddle flybar a drop in replacement on the v911? From the pictures I've seen it sure looks like it. But then, maybe I haven't looked close enough...

The info is floating somewhere. Others have tried it.

Gotta shave down the center area of the Helio flybar so it will teeter smoothly on the v911 hub. Also, the link balls need to be sanded down as well. It's slightly larger than the v911 link balls, so it causes binding.

That's what I had to do to mine.

Perhaps using the Helios linkages would be better?

I remember the Helios flybar was a direct drop in w/o any sanding or shaving. But it didn't have any obvious advantage over stock flybar.

You must have loose links

The Helios flybar needs the balls sanding down slightly and maybe the central rocker a little but not sure on that the balls definately needed sanding.

While I was trying to root out info I came across your "BenMa Helios 100 with msr paddles" vid (some nice flying by the way) and was wondering why you had done this mod when the Helios comes with a paddle flybar. By the looks of things I'd be as well just sticking with converting the original v911 flybar with msr paddles.

Since questions lead to questions, here we go...

In your comments to the vid you say "The motor is from a v911, which seemed weaker than stock Helios motor (the top came off)." Helios motor recommended as replacement for V911 stock then?

What TX were you using to fly in the vid?

How do you hold your camera when shooting the vid? Can't be flying one-handed obviously... got a head-mounted camcorder or what?

Any idea why the msr paddles are better than the Helios? Different shape? Different weight?
