Hey guys it works! I set the throttle range to -120 and it works! Thank you!!

I have one more question, I know it sounds stupid but how do you program the Turnigy 9x transmitter to move the forward stick and makes the V911 move forward and the reverse stick to move it backward? Because they're in opposite direction. (I havent tried the side to side yet. Hahaha...). Thanks again!!
Great! Sounds like your getting close. What you need to do now is reverse the elevator. Go to your reverse and reverse the ele. That should be the only on you need to reverse. Hope this helps.

I was thinking of getting one of those transmitters just for fun.
Worth the $7 + shipping?
My V911 now binds without switching to mode1 (I've applied trim to keep throttle at zero, sub-trim does nothing on throttle). For my Y911 (yellow) I still need to switch to mode1. One thing to know, is that you need to switch the radio on when it is in mode2 (then switch to 1 and back to 2), otherwise it is buggy.
Also, holds you heli when doing so...

Does is worth the money? I think so. It allows more precious control, and configurable dual rates. Ask me again in a week, and we'll see if I'm still using it. If you do get it, please let me know if you are having bind issues.
I can also explain how I binds it in more details when you get it.

hmm.... all I have to do is turn it on and put a battery in the heli. Bind in reverse order of course.

Pidoypogi, that's easy. Go into your Reverse menu and reverse the Elevator channel. I think it's channel 2.

Happy to report that I got my replacement V911 in the mail today!!! It is the "old" style. I ordered it from Amazon because thats where the one that got refunded was ordered from.

Shipping was super fast!! From order to doorstep in five days! Faster than TMart could ever be!

Pleased to have a working V911 again that doesn't have a defective transmitter or PCB.

Now I just need to wait on the parts for fixing my other V911 so I can have two in the air again.

Yes,I remember reading, some the guys posting on the 9116 thread are using a 9x.

I am blessed with very little winds in both the early morning and late evening, so I always fly my JC9002 outside. Its too fast for tight indoor unless I'm in a gym. I modded it a bit with a bit of weight to the body to help it against light gusts. The battery drains a little faster, but I only use the heli as a bit of change of pace when flying planes.

Thank you for answering my question!! I guess I'll be on the lookout for a tx combo instead of the cheaper BNF option. RC is like the rest of the electronic world - always changing connectors and control interfaces so we (consumers) pony up more money. Meh, its worked for decades why stop now...sadly thinking of the dozen txs sitting on a shelf at home.

So to confirm, the Flysky CT6B will work with the v911? I already use that tx for my planes/sims, so I should be set for a BNF V911 right?

Tail motor wire

Does anyone know what gauge the tail motor wire is and where it can be bought?

I only have 28, 30 and very fine magnet wire that is solid.
It seems to break (fatigue) from vibration.

The DH 9116 transmitter is now only $7 at the HobbyPartz link above. It's a step up from the stock V911 tx and a step down from a 9X compatible tx, and cheaper than dirt.
