Is the yellow V911 (Jiuchon clone) landing skid tougher than the original WLtoys V911? Is the yellow landing skid replacement part available for sale? I'd like to install on my WLtoys V911.

It seems to be. It is thicker and almost as flexible.

That is how they shipped mine.

How are you supposed to get the talefin on? I see only two options. 1. Cut the tabs on the fin and glue it on. 2. Cut the tailmotor wires and put the tailmotor holder off.

Hmmm... must be from their US warehouse? Where is that exactly, may I ask? At one point they were considering having me sending a defective item back to their "American warehouse". then for no apparent reason they changed their mind.

I believe the yellow beefier skids are available, but you still need to do some soldering if your v911 is not the yellow (or white) ones. I'm pretty sure you can find them at aliexpress.

Well, it started out in China. USPS finished delivery. It took nearly a month to arrive.

The new tailfins snap on without an issue - other than twisting and jamming the rotor.

On the old style, you could clip the wires, but you'll still need to debond the motor holder. And cut/splice the wires.
You could unsolder the wires at the board, debing the tail boom and withdraw it from the body.

Or, as you said, you can cut the tab and hotglue it on.

That's what I thought. My new tailfin is the original style V911 fin. I wish it was like the one on my new yellow V911.

I have enjoyed flying my v911s around my apartment complex the last couple of months.I had three all together.My first got lost in a big tree.I might see her a month or two once all the leaves are gone.My second has a bad motor.I chose to let be since I have v939 on the way.My third Red robin and best flyer of the bunch began to TB yesterday, and dropped down on a my apartment's two story roof.I borrowed a big latter,once got to the second story,it was gone.I know it was there because I hope get her to tumble down by throttling up.I heard it bouncing around.

Nope. That item doesn't have a transmitter module.

They both will work fine and both are upgradable to er9x firmware if you choose to go that route.

New V911 was spotted earlier on banggood this morning by one of my friends:
"New Plug Version WLtoys V911 2.4GHz 4 Channel Gyro Remote Control RC Helicopter (Mode 2)"
It dissappeared from the website later for unknown reason.

...and not everyone buys from the slow boat and pays $20. Half the helis I've bought have been defective one way or another, and I'd be screwed if I bought them overseas.

I'm thinking it could perhaps be a better choice than the 808's?
Mostly I don't like the 808's because you end up with the buttons "on top" when you try to mount it to the bottom of the canopy (sure, I could probably find software that would invert it, but the stuff I tried increased the file size ten-fold).
And I never had good luck with it outside the case (too hard to aim).

This kind of creeps me out:

Today i used for the very first time my new Flysky TH-9X. I partially followed this guide http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1686230.
This TX is an amazing upgrade, i can't believe how better my 911 fly.
I'll flash with ER9X as soon my programmer arrive.
