I have assumed they are the same. Will post when my hk fp100 arrives

I would have initially Purchaced from myrc except they don't supply mode1

Cheers Jeff

Interesting to see HK calls it 90% compatible with the Align, while most of the heli is actually more Nine Eagles Solo Pro V, and only thre receiver and radio are Align. I think it's more like 10% compatible with Align, and 90% Solo Pro...

It's most important for me that it hasn't got even 10% of flight behaviour and defective parts of the Trex100....

Initially was around $25 or so to Australia. I then had a rush of blood and ordered 2 and paid for ems shipping so that I can give the kids a Chrissy present. Ems was around $40 for the 2 models. I am unable to check at this stage

Interesting because I am considering buying from HobbyKing as well but they want $41.78 for EMS Express to Australia for one helicopter, which I think is a bit rich considering that MyRcMart have it for $31.21

EMS Express to Australia (MAX 2.5kg) NO LIPO $41.93

Airmail was about $10 less

The Trex is that bad huh?

I think that the V911 is, as SP said..more compatible with the SP than the Trex..but then again, the Trex was derived from the SP..so who knows?
The owner claimed he bought both the SP and the 100 to test their crash resistance... I guess form follows function then in this industry and every heli looks the same even though they were designed from scratch by different people

---------On a serious note---------------------------------------------
MAINTENANCE IS DEFINITELY AN ISSUE...
My V911s are both back in the shop (ok, one was caused by my stupidity but the other one is definitely a QC problem)....

If you DONT KNOW how to solder circuit boards...please consider what you are going to do with the bird if the RX board should fail...

I'm in China right now so it's fine for me to send it back to the factory..but it would be very uneconomical for you to do so if you live elsewhere

One was in a slight crash while test flying without the canopy on... it broke the antenna... soldered the antenna back but it wouldn't work....

The other one's tail motor shorted in flight... it was flying normally then suddenly the tail quit.. there was a burnt electrical smell coming from the board...refused to work again..hmm

Hope you get more reliable ones than mine!

oh..and as I said in a previous post..Don't fly without the canopy !

I guess that the one with the broken antena had also a crack on the board...

And the other one probably a burnt transistor...

I think that these problems can be fixed, but soldering skillls are needed (I have repaired such problems on my Solo Pro boards).

Hope you'll get them back soon and fly again soon... mine will probably arrive next week.

Now, if you add in the cart the V911 at HobbyKing, the price is $29,99 (instead of $36,95)

Is this Helicopter going to be a fly-by-night, where-as you purchase it then after a little while it disappears off the market, and you wont be able to find parts for it anymore?
