I brought that -- I happened to see the stock level go the to positive side briefly and ordered. It shipped a day or two later and I think just cleared customs this side today. I like that their model uses the FlySky module with built-in antenna so swapping modules doesn't require cutting the antenna lead (as with Turnigy version). There are other pros and cons discussed on this site but the short of it is no matter who you order from you're likely going to need to order now and wait for it to get restocked and shipped. That way you're in line with everyone else who ordered while they were out of stock. I think I might have just gotten lucky.
I noticed that on the site it gives you the option to purchase a receiver with it. Doesn't it already come with one? I signed up on hobbyking to receive an email when the Turnigy 9x is back in stock and I'll have to keep checking on this particular site for the FlySky version. Thanks for the info!

Computerbreak, see if you can get up some pics like these, maybe someone else will notice something you didn't. In the meantime, compare your Rx and Tx with my pics. Look for solder joints that are connected or blobbed together on yours, but not in the pics. I'm suspicious of the row of three in the upper left of the Rx. Those should be for the feedback pot on the effected servo. Hope this helps.

I asked this question earlier in the thread but never got a response;
What flight times are you all seeing, minimum?
I expect to receive my parcel tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well, I got my V911 from MyRCMart. Ringo is really making a name for himself and building a great reputation of turning away customers who have more than 1 question "No more orders for you...no more complaints..you got what you wanted" Kinda reminds me of that restauant owner on Seinfeld..."no more soup for you!"

V911 receiver battery terminals are wired incorrectly??

Hey guys can you please post some screenshots of your V911 receiver so I and others can compare...it looks like a few posts up that someone else's receiver terminals are wired differently than mine. If you compare these photos, the battery terminals are wired wrong...as long as red is going to the positive on battery. On mine...which looks to be wired wrong...see the + and -. The next thing I'd like to know is when you have the receiver facing the ceiling..and looking from the bottom, what side is the red terminal on..mine's on the left...is that how all of you others' are.

It's clear that the battery wires are soldered on incorrectly. The positive and negative wires are reversed. I just don't know how your heli even turned on in the first place given how it's wired.

You can see the V+. That's where the red wire from the motor and battery should be soldered to. The V- next to it should be where the black battery wire go. ArcFaults picture also confirms this fact.

Sorry, it's already been mentioned, but with 800+ threads, you gotta cut me some slack.

Those of you who have received yours, did it ship in A or B and which do you prefer?

Aaron,

The parts package you added is good, but it can be better.
Please read my post #805
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=805

I explain there what is needed for this package to be a "Whole Heli Only KIT" - this will be very attractive to customers (more than the package you already made).

Thanks

Mine came installed in the outer or "B" position. When I first got my V911 it was completely uncontrollable. I moved mine into the A position but later found out I had other problems that were causing my instability. I eventually moved the linkage back to the A position. Currently my V911 is grounded due to a defective swash plate and owner error (adhesive accident)
So, I never had my air worthy long enough to determine which position was best for me or even if I could tell a difference.

I ordered a 2nd V911 so I'll have to wait for it's arrival as well as some spare parts to try and revive the original bird... if I'm unsuccessful then I'll have to use it for spare parts and education.

Put it on B for more cyclic control. If it is hard for you to control, just push the rate button for Low Rate - it will reduce cyclics. If it is still hard for you to control, move to A position. Try it with High Rate. If it is still hard to control, change to Low Rate.

If you did it all, it will have the lowest cyclic controls, that will allow you to move it very easy and advance when you are getting bored.

A + Low Rate = Lowest cyclics
A + High Rate = Low cyclics
B + Low Rate = High cyclics
B + High Rate = Highest cyclics

There's a couple of us that have been through this with Ringo. The Guy is a first class bell end.

I asked Him (Ringo) for a tracking # once, as the one He provided me with didn't work as He evidently hadn't posted it.

He responded with;
We can't keep you happy and you complain, and immediately put me on EMS only.
I just told Him to shove the order up His arse and refund me as I don't want to do business with Him anymore.
The Guy is a weirdo.
