That's interesting, I have found mine to be better in the wind than the 9958. It will fly straight into a headwind without getting pushed up or down, my 9958s can't fly upwind at all, never mind remain stable while trying. I know that neither of my 9958s fly exactly the same, stands to reason that the v911s would all be a bit different too.

As far as the links hitting the pin guide goes, not a problem with mine, probable your pin guide was just a little bent from the factory.

However, each bird definitely has it's strengths. And at the price of them, we can own both and have the best of both worlds.

Guys having issues, remember to check the Solo Pro FAQ thread that Solo Pro compiled. I am sure many of the mechanical fixes can be applied to the v911.

The head design of the v911, like it's Solo Pro brethren, means that TBE isn't usually any issue like it is with the mSR head design. If you have TBE, something is broken or out of place. Definitely check to make sure your flybar is freely teetering. Second, make sure the pivot pins are not broken. This is can break, and you may not notice it.
I agree. I'm glad I have both, though I prefer the Solo Pro, as it's more all-round in stock form. As for the TBE. On the Solo Pro, this is barely an issue, and if present, it's cause is usually very easy to spot, as soon as you check for anything binding in the head, compromising free movement of the flybar and linkages.

oh well, was not 100% clear to me,

by the way, looks like those guys from banggood just allow paypments with verified paypal accounts so if your order was not processed yet, might be this the reason.

So strange to be honest, dealextreme, focalprice and so on never asked for such thing to accept payments.

well i did a good bit of outdoor flying today and i think it might be a little better than the 9958 in the wind it must have just been windier than i thought and i didnt realize till today that when i turn off the tx it goes back to the lower dual rate mode so that was probably the problem

Thanks for your reply, I have just checked all linkages above the swashplate and everything seems to move freely unless there is something I haven't checked, could it be something to do with only flying it about a metre and a half to two metres from the ground? (Ground effect)

EC Declaration of Conformity

E-mail from WLToys with "offer" about EC Declaration of Conformity:

"Hi MXXX,
Merry Christmas and happy new year.
I got the point,it seems that we just need to apply the R&TTE cert.and them you will have the EC declaration and Directive 1999/5/EC.
After confirmed with my boss and the test agent.
They told me that if will cost us about 20k RMB to get it.
I am wondering if you would like to my solve it.
Can we share the cost together or what is your qty,if the volume is larger than 10k,we can stand it.pls kindly check it.
----------------------------
Best regards..."

What do you think about this? I just forward e-mail to BangGood where I was buy v911 to try to resolve this offer. I can't pay additional amount for stg what both company will use in future for legal customs procedure in import in European and others country???

This is a little bit odd, as they declared in their site that they already have FCC and RTTE certificates:

I was upload all certificate in earlier post here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...548027&page=14- they are for infrared RC helicopter not for 2,4GHz radio (V911). Maybe you can also ask them about EC Declaration of conformity??? Maybe in that case they will do Declaration without asking for additional payment? What do you think? You have contact by e-mail Chris in WLToy?
Maybe you can put support comments on my questions about Declaration here: http://www.facebook.com/banggood
