Maybe cut weight & get longer flight times by using a lighter shell. For a custom Bravo SX build I fitted & CA glue Q-Tips tubing to extending the shell mounts to use cowling from Solo Pro or 9958.

Yeah, I have thought about this, but I sure love the look of the MD 500 body.

my v911 is in the status of "originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece." Anyone else experienced this? 5 days already and hasn't changed

I just ordered mine from dealsshow, $39 shipped, pretty good! (although I chose registered airmail, $1.70 more).
Would have looked on banggood, but they are down as mentioned above. Hopefully my HCW 537 coaxial heli order will be fine from banggood. I think when I looked the other day, the V911 heli's were a little more than on dealsshow.

I would have bought from hobbyking, but once postage is added, it costs a lot more. Plus its on backorder.

I think Dealsshow is somehow related to BangGood. At the bottom of the page, under shipping method, they mentioned BangGood.
