Anyone know if the main shaft diameters are the same for the Xieda 9958 and the V911?

does anyone know if these batteries will fit? They are listed for the mCPX which I believe has the same connector.

I believe the black plastics is wider you would have to modify the battery tray

I thought I read in this thread somewhere that we just have to trim the black plastic on the side of the batteries and it will fit in a stock holder. Also how do we spin the battery holder backwards so there's more weight on the nose for faster flight?

Nav Lights

Hi! I added nav lights to my V911. The LEDs are glued to the frame and support the canopy.

and I have read through this post about a whole bunch of fixes and repairs that need to be done but I have dropped mine in the street about 5 or 6 times today and not even scratched the canopy. I have hit a tree and two power lines and my house and truck and had no issues whatsoever so far. Knock on wood. These little things are a lot more durable than I thought they would be. I also ran a piece of scotch tape across the bottom of the skids connecting 1 side to the other so it doesn't split wide when you land a little too hard and smack it on the ground.

Mine has been super durable, even after a couple dunkings. But today, on a rare calm day in Dallas, I tried flying outside and a stray breeze caused me to bump into the pergola. Went to fly it again and one wire to the trail motor had broken off the main board. Gotta break out my soldering iron again.

The DH9116 TX will fly a v911 and 9958. Therefore the TH9x will fly that heli.

The helimax wont work unless it's anylink compatible and you have an anylink module.

MD530, i dont know anything about.

I took my first video with my 808 camera tonight taped to the bottom of the skids. It was really entertaining because I had it very news heavy so it was hard to get it not to move forward when taking off. I will play with the center of gravity in a better more stable way to mount it in the next few days. The helicopter did not really want to pick up very high. I only had it charging for about 20 minutes so it was not fully charged when I tried it but I didn't want to wait any longer. I got it about 2 feet in the air and flew around my living room a little bit. I will upload it tonight because the quality of the video definitely didn't look hd. This helicopter is so much fun!

Using your v911 template to fly my V939 right now. GLORIOUS fun. Suddenly my $40 toy quad flies with precision and control. I can bank full circles in my living room, something I'd thought was impossible with my 939.

Here's the weird part - as fun as it is with my v939, my v911 doesn't seem to play well with your template. It seems to have less throttle power than it does with the stock tx. When making a fast turn or correction I lose altitude very quickly. Is the throttle just tied into the flight mode switch, or is it also tied into the aux 1 and 2 pots?
