I took a solder & ran it across the plastic notches a couple times to kind of concave them, now everything seats fine & the heli flies great

Not yet, our cell mfg is working on them along with some higher capacity versions of some of our other micro heli batteries. It will be at least a month before we have 200's in stock.

that lighter shaft & more precise swash looks like a for sure upgrade though for now.
Hi there, I'm expecting my v911 in the mail soon and am looking for a 2.4ghz module to allow me to use my futaba t9cap to fly it. Any words of advice ?!

Cheers from Victoria

It's common that when a US company ships "for free" that they mean US only and do charge shipping for international. I went again a minute ago to your site and put 5 cells in my cart and your shipping calculator quoted my shipping fee as $0.00.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up for these parts.

Motor life?

What's the approximate main motor life on these helis? Tail motor?
How many batteries worth can I expect?
I'm a VERY casual flier-- don't plan to do mods, get a new transmitter, etc. I just want to be able to fly occasionally and not have to worry about replacing stuff all the time.

6 months of casual use, but after a few months bits start breaking.

Hast there been any protocol changes for the v911, or will my old tx still work for one of the "new plug" versions?

I see that now thanks

Wonder why BG doesn't list that on the V911 helicopter accessories page.. I clicked on browse by brand which said 74 items but only had 28.

Is the delrin gear buried in there somewhere? lol

No changes on the RX/TX protocol.

For those of you who are using a DH 9116 Tx.. Do you feel the trim isn't effective enough? I can mechanically trim everything except the rudder.
The rudder trim just doesn't seem to work on either of my 9116 Tx's.

Only sub trim seems to work on the rudder for some reason.

You gotta be kidding.. The rudder was the only reason I bought the 9116 Tx's

Dual Rates work to tame down the rudder, but as the battery gets low and the tail starts to drift the rudder trim won't help. I don't really find it to be an issue. The tail only drifts at the end of the pack and it's not good to run your battery too low anyway.
