Yeah thanks, I'd seen your mod, seems like a good idea. Think you could tell me what "5 min JB weld" is? Never heard of that one and just wondering if we have something similar in Germany.

I've heard of people using, amongst others, sewing machine oil on their motors. Do you use anything and, if so, what?

I've never done this, sorry.

I do love the fact that an entire replacement heli is only $20.

Anyone else have issues with the Y911 binding? It binds for me, but it usually takes a few tries, and will sometimes lose the bond in flight. It's really kind of backwrads. The yellow 911 has some improvements in the frame durability, but the electronics seem of a lesser quailty.

Hi all. I've learned to fly quite ok but now I have problem with my Aileron servo. When turning left the servo first works fine but then starts to jerk up and down making my copter all wobly. Is there anything I can do?

By the "911 with teeth", I think you are referring to Hero-RC's H911, am I right?

JB weld is an epoxy with steel in it . , I'm sure it would help the heat transfer.It's heavy bodied dark gray ,It won't drip off. "not the putty sticks though"
I use Epic/Trinity hobby micro bearing oil , I'm positive there is many oils that are great in Germany as well as sewing machine oil.

Those are the stock skids with the connector removed and modified to allow a msr sized batter to slid in snug past the stock connector location. If you slice right where the screws were, the width is right. The great thing about it is the adjustability. You can slid the battery forward into the canopy for super fast forward flight.

Sorry no temperature testing. But I do notice better heading hold for longer with the 25c batteries and Iv been limiting my flight times to 7 min to save my gear.

So you could run them longer.. but the advantage is faster forward flight and better heading hold. Probably more cycles on the batteries to. With only one tenth gram increase.

The bottom one is the Solo Pro II

Won't fit without modding. You will have to drill out hole to a larger size. Also Solo Pro fly bar is more flexible and lighter. In my opinion Solo Pro flybar breaks easier than v911 flybar.

You're right. I found the 14500 3.7V batteries (AA size) after I had done my mod
But not 100% unaltered. You need make some connections as you only need 2 batteries (2x3.7v) and the battery holder is used to hold more in serial.

This 14500 mod can also be used with v911 stock tx.
