I don't see any 13x6 props on hobbypartz

13x7 should be better for 3d right, I figure pushing more air with a slight increase in amp draw?

Imo you need a torque prop for strong punchouts & acceleration....that said, the oem prop on the sister ship Sbach "gets er dun"

Good Advice, thanks!

Sbach prop is a 13x7 so I'ma order multiples maybe even a 14x7 and a 12x7.

I'm used to indoor 3d with a 5x53. This is my first bird over an 800mm wingspan so I'm so noob with how to prop it.

Yup, guessing just test props and keep her under 740watts (50a Esc running 4s)

Yeah I think I was pulling around 550W on 4S with the stock prop...plenty of grunt for a light foamie

Doubt it. If it follows their new Sbach model, parts will be about another month.

I was originally going to get the sbach but decided to wait for parts to come in stock. If I remember correctly, it was only about 2 weeks before the parts were on the site. But in that time, I saw the Pitts and the plan changed.

As far as needing parts, I personally don't think I'll need them. I don't own any 4S packs so I ordered mine from another very well-known, inexpensive vendor whose shipping happens to take forever! So this bird will look good on display at my house for another week or so. The 2200 mah pack that I ordered is 10g less than the Sky lipo 2200. I didn't want to limit myself to 4-5 minutes of flight on 1800 mAh but I still wanted a little less weight as per Antonio's suggestion.

UPS says I should get the plane by the end of the day on Monday. I'll take some pics and post them when I get it.

How do you all plan to manage the popping off of that hatch above the receiver (as in the video)? Antonio recommends silicone or similar adhesive. I was thinking about adding a small set of rare-earth magnets. I just don't know where to get them. I was also thinking about some double-sided tape. Any thoughts?
