Airfield F-4 70mm Blue Angel questions.
Hey guys and gals. Im somewhat new to edfs. I got this plane used in great shape and it flies awesome. Well i had the stock battery and it toasted one cell. So i went to hobbyking.com and purchased some Nanotech 2650 MAH 14.8v batteries. They are a tad wider and longer. I am trying to mod this plane so the batts would fit. I found up here that the CG is 150mm from leading edge. However it flew fine with stock battery but I never checked CG because of the way the original owner modded the battery area the stock battery couldnt move. Well im trying to get these nanotechs in without too much hassle it balances quite off from 150mm. I flipped the plane over and moved the battery around until it balanced at 150mm and it just doesnt seem right that would put the battery where the canopy joins on the fuse which is where the holes are for the esc and tail feather wires go. Any of you guys own this plane with some advice or anyone made this mod to fit turnigy nanotechs before?
Thanks so much
