Twin electric scratch build idea

Hey guys, I have an itch to build an electric twin with about a 30-36 inch wingspan. It will primarily will be a depron build for large indoor or calm outdoor conditions. My question of the day is which plane to build...
Here are the current contenders and each have their own pros and cons:

C-123, P-38, B-25, Twin Otter, C-82
Anyone have any other ideas? I'm open to suggestions.

Cessna O-2?

I love the civilian/GA stuff along with military - maybe a Beech Model 18 or Lockheed Electra could be really neat. Or even Hoover's Rockell Commander.

I am such a sucker for a nice p38 with counter rotating props, and all the whistles.

I had to look up the Cesna 0-2 it looks very neat! That could be a fun build. good luck on the indoor flying. Most so far have been a bust.

OV-10 Bronco? A P-61 Black Widow would be awesome. Always liked that plane though I'm not sure why.

Rich,
Although a twin engined plane it might not be exactly what you had in mind yet it would be an interesting project.

On the other hand, one of the most beautiful planes ever designed in my estimation is the DH88 Comet - "Grosvenor House." Lots of pictures and three view around.

I saw a Beech model 18 variant at the PDK good neighbor days but did not know what it was til now- thanks! The Cessna O2 is really cool and would eliminate the need for a really accurate sync of motor rpm compared to a wing mounted twin set up. Thanks for the suggestions

twin plans

Hi
saw your thread on the twin Have a look on www.outerzone.co.uk there are a few balsa controlline twins that could be converted to rc and depron easily p38, beaufighter and the dh88 comet just a few .ive just printed off the p38 and comet both to 44 inch span I think the comet might win for me at 43inch span and 600 gms max would give 12oz/sqft loading two 2812 on 2cell and 8x4 counter rotating props would be an interesting parkflyer with 18 amp escs
regards twinkle see my blog for an interesting twin (my jackal)
