Something is a little off in the video, but it does sound good.
I think I might try the HET 700-98-670.

Realistically, volts would be less. So whats the amp draw??

Something doesn't make sense, or it's just too much for that motor.

Scott, we have fans, lets get some airframes together!!!!

6.6kg on 8800 watts is bad IMHO. On my crappy old Haoye 4.5" rotor I got 11 lbs on 3200 watts. This would only be 3.6lb more thrust on dang near thriple the power. Something is not right, however I am happy the rotor will hold together at these power levels.

lower volts

I guess even if the cells do sorta good...your lookin at 200 amps for 8800 watts

Also that number is with no intake lip or tail pipe...so it will be diffrent..my guess is thrust will jump up a lot

plus that kv is way too high...most of those watts are waste heat. a 600 kv would probably give same thrust at way less watts. lets judge the fan using a proper kv and inlet lip

Yeah, that Kv is WAY too high. On 15S - 8300 watts (155A) we are getting 22 pounds of thrust with the Dynamax fan.

How about a Scorpion 4035-400 on 16s? Itís got an 8mm shaft and is on sale. I wish I was not on such a tight budget and had all my money earmarked for other things or I would pick one up to store away for a future high-volt setup. You decide what motor you are going to use FF?

Lee, how do you think the modded HK 600 motor would do on this fan?

Any idea when X-Flight is going to release these FF? Since you got yours I figured they would go up on the site soon. I'm inpatient.
