WTB Adjustable Voltage-Adjustable Current Lab Power Sup

Hello, I would like to buy a Lab power supply if someone has one to get rid of, adjustable Volts-Current, If not if someone could let me know where I could get one from at a decent price. USA or Canada please.

Hi Soholingo,
I have several things that I could do with one. One of which is checking the IO of a motor, or the internal resistance of same. Have you ever noticed how a battery, regardless of type, loses voltage very rappidly, makes it very tough to take accurate readings.

A lab power supply is a very useful tool to have.

I got my last one on eBay - dirt cheap, too.

Take your time and look at what's offered. Watch the shipping costs, though. Some can be very heavy.

Robert,
I have a couple of these. This one will charge up to 20V at 10 amps. None of my packs are over 4S 4P (use them in multiples) so this one works great for me.

Excellent tool:
I use one to power my charger and also direct to charge lithiums.
Control the voltage and limit the current.

We don't delete anything unless it contains something offensive or violates the forum policies.

Keeping the information available allows someone in the future to locate it without having to start another thread. It'll stay open because there may be other suggestions also.

Just a note, I do not know what your going to use the PS for..But 10amps max is NOTHING..Unless your charging small amounts of cells.

I can easlyly pull 25amps just charging a pack of 2400 30cells
EASLY. and thats with only 1 charger and 1 pack.

If you really want something to have around for a long time, you should look at the 25amp range. (Just my opinion) 225.00 is alot for a fancy LCD screen....and only 10amps.

Think Heavey duty...

You can't go wrong. (been there did that)
