Suggestion for a quick boat under 100$
Hi, I'm new to the forum but have lots of RC products. I'm looking for an Electric RC boat that can go at least 30 MPH and is under 100$. Any suggestions on a boat/where I can pick one up?

Ready to run or kit? Truthful answer is there are none that go at least 30 mph for less than $100. Sarcastic smart a$$ answer is that even the $30 models from Nikko, Nkok, etc., will do 70 mph - in the back of the car as you drive to the lake.

Do you know what kind of speeds the Mini Wildcat, Mini Thunder, MiniMono or Mini Rio produce? (AquaCraft) Thanks

They all cost more than $100, the "Mini Thunder" is the least powerful using a Speed-400 brushed motor. The "Mini mono" and "Wildcat" have bit more performance but still about 25mph in stock form. 30mph doesn't sound like a very high speed but it still take some serious Watts and a good setup to get there.
The Proboat offering are more like it

best place for a good deal on a used good fast electric boat is either an RC swap fest, neighborhood garage sale or Craig's list. Those are the rare
sweet deals. |

I have to agree with CG Bob, in that a 30mph boat for under $100 is at best a dream.
 The best I've found for below that price is the Aquacraft Reef Racer II, which gives you a good bang for your buck, bur still is well under 30 mph---.

Models are no different than the real thing. SPEED = cubic DOLLARS!!! A good rc car that will hit 30+, probably will set you back about $300, or more, ready to run. RC boats are the same, and have way more variables. What motor, RPM's, power, etc. for what hull, witch prop, dia., pitch, style,etc. Weight and balance,all these come into play. On a high end, Ready to Run boat, the Mfg's. have already figured all this out. Have fun, and welcome to model boats. CaptCB
