2012 New Years Day Postal Contest
New Years Day Postal Woody Contest
To all world wide it is time to get ready for the new year. So on that note I will be holding the New Years Day Postal Contest! The contest will be here on this thread on RC Groups. Please spread the word to all your club friends! Here are the guide lines that we all should follow! Have fun! Unlimited flights to get to the goal of longest thermal flight wins! In the spirit of the old days the plane needs to be constructed of WOOD! No molded LE wing parts. The span can be any size. Glass fuse OK. "Sniffers" Don't need one! Only one flight counts! Please no slope flights The winner gets a trophy! It will be small! Added Note: If there is a tie for the longest flight of the day - the flight made at lowest temperature wins. The flying site with the lowest temperature of the day deserves a mention as well. Please post here to sign in. Name: Tag name is fine Airplane: End of the day please repost with this info! As long as I can stay in the air longer than a dead-air glide down I'll consider it a good day. I doubt I'll be even 10% of what any of you guys can do but I'll have fun trying!

We plan on spending the day out at a friends place in California Valley. This will be my first time out for new years, but a few of the group have done it for a few years now. Gotta get my a$$ back in gear and finish rehabbing the Marauder!Been playing with stuff from the"dark side" and have been side tracked on the rebuild...err...re kit. Should be fun!
