Formation

David,

If there was an F-86, I missed that too Hope the picture shows up OK, this is from a EVO phone 3 miles from the base. The Video comes out as 3GP from the phone, now I need to conver it to Windows Media to upload it.

.....................and the F-4 is still the winner, size wise. man, I never really knew how big the F-4 really is/was.............or how small the Raptor is. that picture really shows the difference.

Very Low Quality Video

OK People here is the parts of the video that could actually be seen Cell-phones don't exactly zoom in much, the base is across the fence, then there is an auto salvage yard and then the runway. Total distance to the runway is about half a mile. Last warning, video is lousy quality, The first 10 seconds is right outside the cafeteria, then I moved about 500 feet closer to get away from the leaf blower noise.

Airshow.wmv (2 min 4 sec)

Even if I was to have a lousy day doing real work, the Airshows are what I would call, the best perk of my job and well worth it.

I was only responding to your first post, "Crappy day at work" if you know what I mean, flying RC models can be also hard work, Joe.

Ralph,
I've decided that you need to carry a good video camera with you at work at all times.

Also Ralph, every time you look out the window please call the Human Resource Department and put yourself on annual leave, or personal leave.

Jealousy runs deep around here, as the rest of us don't have those opportunities. LOL

They are doing it again.

Then I will see you Saturday Vic. It's kind of hard to get any work done today, lot's of noise and walls rumbling every time a plane flies over. I mean it sure doesn't help that I forwarded my calls to me cell phone and I am sitting outside in the shade with my laptop watching everything. Oh beat still my heart Like I said before, one of the BEST perks of working here for me and they know I love the noise like that.

At the time they ask, I wanted to know where I would fly, etc.

Gallon of kero, 150mph, problems, 30,000 people and on the news at 10:00

Did not want that to be me on TV, but they never got me the informaiton about the flying location.

So better safe than sorry.

Maybe next time.
