Could this be a new building material someday?

Pretty cool story - a material 200 times lighter than Styrofoam. Not sure how strong it might be or how long it could be before its something that could be cost effective, but imagine the implications for model aviation (or aviation in general).

Looks like it would need a really hot wire to cut it, so it is probably not for me.
Interesting stuff though, thanks for the link. Lighter than aerogel, wow.

Unless I'm missing something, less dense than air would mean you would need to stick it down to your workbench when working on it or work up-side-down, attached to the ceiling? Truly lighter than air machines ???

Only have to hold it down when covered and air removed.
