thetis and h+h...thanks for guide through the upgrade.....i installed every thing....the hardest part was mounting the bottom motor.....it took me forever to find a 2mm screw that would work....i can not believe that extreem flyers is marketing such a poorly thought out upgrade.....i have no engineering back ground and i could have done a better job designing the whole deal......it flies much longer....i get 10 mins on a 1300 mah battery......i install the battery below the battery tray with a zip tie sling....i can change batteries without removing the canopy....i will put all the wireing and maybe the esc's in the battery tray....sure is alot of wiring to hide.........i painted the canopy post sanding with 400 grit sandpaper with krylon fusion or rustoleum painters touch....both are made to bond with plastic.........i can now rest...the quest to improve the x-350 is behind me....thank goodness....hope the pics come through....pault

Gongrats Pault. Did you check the motors and ESCs temperatures after the flight. Are the motors as hot as or hotter than the brushed motors? What battery make is this?

No outdoor flight today since It is raining here, Isaac's remnants but a lot of indoor trimming. I finally managed to accommodate all wires & ESCs in way both of my canopies (stock & 400) fit OK. I will post pics soon.

Pault, nice to hear about the motors low temps. After the BL mod, I have not done yet any serious and long time flying in order to tell.

Wires & ESCs arrangement

I tried my best to arrange everything in the front and under the canopy (I used three 10 inch zip ties). I must say I had to do a lot of elevator trimming due to the added weight in the front but after all she takes off and hovers fine. Yet, no outdoor test, it is still raining.

The sun shines today but very humid and windy (I think 8-10 miles wind). Anyway I couldn't wait and I took her out for a short test flight against the wind. She handles quite nice. May be the extra weight in the front along with the tail propeller's help she handled the wind very well. The test flight was less than five mins though due to the pick up of the wind. Happy camper so far.

No, my back yard is extended to a big village park with tall trees but far away from where I fly. All of my toys are only outdoors flown.

Yaa, thanks. It was about time after eight months of ownership and headaches plus all the cost for repairs and hop ups. Anyway, water under the bridge, let's look forward. BTW thanks for your help one more time.

Good video, she is very tamed. Did you ever try coordinated turns and eights? Sometimes, mine outdoors has her own will like a teenager, especially when there is some wind.
