Ok update. I opend the package. everything looks good, but doesn't seem like there is enough hardware to build the frame. so what I need to know are these M3 or 4-40 threads. I am going to need to get more screws and nuts , and some more shorter standoffs. mine came with a bunch of long standoffs.
just checked with a 4-40 screw, doesn't want to go in very smooth so I'm guessing m3.

Perhaps something to think about for the next revision. Still, I like the frame! The rest of the parts should be here tomorrow, then I can finally test it.

yeah an extra plate would be needed, any plate that would fit your Crius or KK would work as a roll plate though. Just won't be lexan

See the short standoffs you have there, all I got were 8x long 1/ 1/4 inch and 4 X 1/4 . I think there were supposed to be shoter ones for the frame. I think he goofed when he sent mine.

you're missing the short half height standoffs. should be 8. 2 for each arm

The long arms are for the battery support/roll cage/FC protector

He probably made a mistake.
I am sure he will work something for you. He is a good man.

I know it's not fun... but do you have standoff laying somewhere ?

can't decide to use a power distribution board or not. I have it suspended in between the decks with tiny standoffs so I can access both the top and bottom terminals.I also have the Photoship One dist. board which is green but smaller. only 2g difference between aluminum hardware and nylon so I think I'm going to jewel it up a bit since its so pretty as is. I will be lighting it with clusters of SMD LEDs, either 2 rows of 3 for 6 total, 1 watt. or strips. Whichever gives off the best edge lighting I guess.

Going to be using Coptercontrol, Plush 10a's and GWS 5x3x3 and 3s 1000mah for power. May put some fpv on this little guy if he flies well!

I'm excited about this mini!

I did find a link last night for the m3 standoffs....

http://uk.digikey.com/1/3/hex-screwdriver

loads on there , ill have a look through my heli spares later to see if anything is suitable , as for the plates needing to be 50mm , ill try and find some 2mm perspex/poly later , its not worth ordering anything at the minute as UK post might as well just shut down , its just taken 7 days to get a letter that was posted first class 70 miles away lol..

I had to make a power spider, a small one. Today I learned that it's a massive pain to prepare everything for the small frame. You have to cut the wires very close to the ESCs, motors etc and the power spider is very very small with roughly a centimeter of wire between the 4 plugs. There is little room for error here, which is why I ordered 5 motors and 5 ESCs. Just in case anything goes wrong.

I also ran out of spacers and screws, so I may have to use regular washers and nuts to hold the FC and battery plate in place.
