I just noticed something here. The top plate which is supposed to protect the electronics isn't big enough to protect larger boards such as the Crius and KK ones. (45mm between mounting holes) So my board will be unprotected. Also, the bottom board that the motors are mounted on don't have the same set of extra holes as the top plate (Those meant for KK boards and similar) so you have to use the nylon spacers like so:

Perhaps something to think about for the next revision. Still, I like the frame! The rest of the parts should be here tomorrow, then I can finally test it.

Protector Top plate orginally for 30.5mm board hole.
But many of 30.5mm board out off stock.
I add 45mm hole on Upper plate after the first relase.
Pre drilled for who want use other big board.

(You can clean nylon with wood stick on the bambucopter writing)

MiniWii board have self leveling capability.
You need to have an "Accelerometer" to have that on MultiWii board.

I (stupidly) tried to clean the glue residue from the tape you secured the top and bottom decks together with some acetone, the polycarbonate did not like that at all and clouded over and started cracking!

Might be worth switching to masking tape?

Any chance you can send me a spare top deck (and fixings set if you have one)

Now that I think of it a scaled up protective top plate to suit 45mm centres Crius multiwii / KKMulticopterboard would be grand too, I don't ask for much do I?

Acetone is a strong solvent..
