3 channel 1/48 scale MiG 15 with 25mm EDF!
This is my new 3 channel 1/48 scale version of my MiG 15 design. The model has a 7.75 inch wingspan and weighs 12.5 grams RTF with the Hyperion 100 mAh Li-poly cell. I built the model to test a new 3 gram one cell prototype 25mm EDF unit that Stefan Gasparin made for me. http://www.gasparin.cz/ The new fan puts out over 12 grams of static thrust with the Hyperion cell. I also used the new DT 2.4 GHz Spektrum DSM2 compatible 4 channel Rx43 actuator receiver in this plane. http://www.deltang.co.uk/ They are available in the US from BSD designs. http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/ The plane has one 400mg actuator in each aileron and has good positive control using the Rx43! The model has good performance and can fly over 4 minutes on the Thunder Power 125mAh cell. The model won the Best Jet award at last weeks JR indoor event! Higher Plane productions did a photo shoot of the plane with Fly Low girl Ashley and took a nice video of one of my flights. http://www.higherplaneproductions.com/
Joe.
