Hi guys,

i built the LP1.1 last days and we had the first flight this weekend.

It flys absolutly great and the speed ist perfect.

Engine is MEGA 16 EDF 5S on 5s 2200 SLS APL

The space in the plane is nice so that you have not to fix all cables ten times before the space is ok to fix the wing.

With this setup the weight is 770g

Are you using a flaperon/spoileron mix for landing?


Do you have any data from the 16 EDF on 5S? How many rpm?

Very fast and nice Video Henrik, BUT mega edf on 5s ?? thats has to be many amps, isnt that like a 3300-3400kv motor ?

Hi guys,

i´m using spoilers as both flaps 3mm up and -4% elevator. That works perfect and the landing spees is nice slow.

The MEGA 16 EDF 5S has 2350 KV and is made for 5s use.

With 4,7² prop i have 63A. And tere is some space for bigger props.

Thease engines are verry robust and can take higer amps for short times.

Flying time is about 90 seconds. With some breaks 2 min

Ahh, its a 16/25/EDF I was thinking it was a 16/15/EDF too (which would be very hot!)


Would be a nice efficient setup!



Would you mind posting all your throws as mm for me? Be handy as mine will weigh a ton (im guessing ~900grams) making setting up the landing mix from scratch a lil bit scary. Thanks!

OK its the 2350kv one,,, no problems, full throttle all the way on 5s then

It is very quick for like 1000 watts...

Yes it is... Much quicker than voodoo ore others..

The LP1.1 has a complete new Wing profile wich is much flater than the old one. So the performance increased.

Bit the whole plane is very stiff. Will be very hard to break it in the air

Some 1.1 weights -

Wing - 147g
Fuselage - 44g
Vert - 7g
Stab - 18g

Total - 216g (very light for the size and strength!)


I figure my AUW is going to be ~860gram. or 2900W/kg 1300W/lb (woohoo!)

Jacko or Hendrik , what would be the max width on servos in wing ?

If you put back the servo as far front you can in that servohole, would a small servo that has 11.5mm height fit ?

Jes, but do not forget, that the new LP1.1 is a complete new plane. It has nothing to to with the LP1.0 Also the quality of the LP1.1 is much higher than the old one. And the covers for the Servos are so cool.

It shuld be possible to fit 11mm Servos like D60 in the Wing. Than you have to drill up the hole from the servo for some mm. Withe the cover you will not see it.
